Architectural Design & Engineering Rep - MI/OH

Essential Functions Presents and promotes Stonhard/Liquid Elements products and services to architectural, design and engineering firms with a specific geographic region. Works with Design Build construction firms. Maintains accurate files and records involving Stonhard accounts by executing necessary paperwork such as maintaining a Salesforce Automation (SFA) database with projects and activities associated with that project and/or account. Communicates closely with Stonhard Territory Managers/Project Engineers/Market Managers/Business Development Managers regarding project recommendations, bidding, estimating, and quoting of projects within his/her SFA project pipeline. Gives group presentations to architects, interior designers and engineers relating to Stonhard/Liquid Elements products and services. Meets or exceed Stonhard's minimum activity standards for quotes and orders as set by Stonhard sales management. Contacts a minimum of 10-15 clients in-person per week. Enter a minimum of 5 new projects per week within Salesforce. Minimum Requirements 2+ years' industry experience in similar sales, design, or equivalent role. Spend a minimum of 4 days per week in the field with Stonhard customers. Ability to proactively identify opportunities and quickly implement solutions. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organization and planning skills. Must be very flexible and able to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment. Has the ability to organize and prioritize activities. Must be computer literate with experience using technology and customer relationship management software (Salesforce.com), and Microsoft 365. Valid Driver's License Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to physically transport sample case and literature to customers (approximately 40 lbs. weight) Must possess reliable transportation (driving time in a typical day - 30%) This position requires wearing a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, high-visibility vest, and depending on the task, may also require ear protection, respirators, safety harnesses, and specialized protective clothing, while on the worksite.
