About the Position

Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 to 26 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - 2 years of PCU/Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience - Proficient in EPIC - Ability to float onsite within skill set or to locations within 40 miles Description: Contracts are available for 13 to 26 weeks. Every other weekend and every other holiday are required. Travelers will be placed on a unit with the greatest need, whether in a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit, based on their skills. Candidates with either Med/Surg or Stepdown RN experience are welcome, as they share the same credentialing requirements. Candidates must complete the RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills assessment. Previous travel experience is preferred. Floating to different units may be required based on organizational needs.
