Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for a temporary 90-day project supporting a busy manufacturing facility.


This is a hands-on role for someone with strong mechanical maintenance and equipment troubleshooting experience. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to equipment breakdowns, and help keep production machinery operating safely and efficiently.


Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment
* Respond to emergency and unscheduled equipment breakdowns
* Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
* Diagnose mechanical problems involving:
- Bearings
- Gears
- Sprockets
- Pumps
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Power transmission components
* Perform basic electrical troubleshooting on AC/DC circuits
* Use a voltmeter to diagnose electrical problems
* Check and replace fuses and troubleshoot motors, motor starters, and relays
* Assist with equipment rebuilds and repairs
* Support plant shutdown maintenance
* Assist with new equipment installations
* Perform basic fabrication as needed
* Follow LOTO, Arc Flash, Hot Work, JSA, Confined Space, and other plant safety procedures

Requirements
* Previous industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
* Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
* Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
* Knowledge of bearings, gears, sprockets, pumps, and power transmission systems
* Basic industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
* Ability to troubleshoot motors, starters, relays, and AC/DC circuits
* Experience performing preventive maintenance
* Ability to safely work around industrial machinery
* MIG/TIG welding experience is preferred but not required.

Starting Pay: $25/hr
