School-Based Physical Therapist - Penn Yan, New York

Key highlights of this position include:

• Contract dates: Provide maternity leave coverage from July 6, 2026, through August 14, 2026, for the summer session, and continue into the new school year from September 8, 2026, to October 31, 2026, with a potential extension into November.
• Full-time, onsite hours: Work 40 hours weekly serving a caseload of approximately 25-30 preschool students.
• Setting: Join a multidisciplinary team at a respected center supporting diverse developmental and physical needs.

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Valid and current Physical Therapist license in New York.
• Experience with pediatric or school-based setting, ideally with ages 3-5.
• Understanding of IEP implementation and progress tracking.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, families, and related services.
• Ability to work onsite for all assigned hours and dates.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Assessing student needs and developing individualized care plans.
• Providing direct PT services and interventions to eligible preschoolers.
• Supporting classroom staff and families with training or recommendations.
• Documenting progress and participating in team meetings to help ensure well-rounded student support.
