As a Client Manager on our Commercial Insurance team, you will serve an existing book of middle market commercial clients from a variety of industries. Major categories include Construction, Manufacturing, Automotive, and other service-based businesses. Compensation and Benefits for this role include…

• Annual salary based on experience plus potential for quarterly bonuses based on agency profitability

To be successful in this position, you’ll need to be:

• Licensed as a Property and Casualty insurance agent
• Experienced in Commercial insurance (minimum of 3 years preferred, don't hesitate to apply if you have 5, 10, or even 20+ years)
• Motivated by getting things done and checking off your To-Do list
• Great at helping customers in a timely manner
• Comfortable with computers and software, knowing Applied Epic is a BIG plus, but not required

As an Account Manager at Highstreet/Ottawa Kent, you’ll be expected to:

• Retain current clients
• Share technical expertise about insurance - products, coverages, client needs, forms, and proposals
• Complete day-to-day Commercial Lines Workflows - written confirmation of binding policies, certificates of insurance, endorsements and audits, renewal marketing
• Present additional coverages based on client needs
• Prepare accurate proposals and summaries of insurance

Where is the location and what are the work hours?

• Candidates must be based in Michigan. Hybrid in-office schedules or Fully Remote are possibilities depending on your location.
• Full time; 40 hours a week
