Are you a driven Account Manager / CSR who wants to:
- Help business owners protect their employees and operations
- Create win-win relationships with underwriters
- Use your customer service ability to grow a local agency
As a Client Manager on our Commercial Insurance team, you will serve an existing book of middle market commercial clients from a variety of industries. Major categories include Construction, Manufacturing, Automotive, and other service-based businesses. Compensation and Benefits for this role include…
- Annual salary based on experience plus potential for quarterly bonuses based on agency profitability
- Full benefits package (Medical, Dental, Life, Disability, FSA/HSA, 401k match, generous PTO plan and company holiday schedule)
To be successful in this position, you’ll need to be:
- Licensed as a Property and Casualty insurance agent
- Experienced in Commercial insurance (minimum of 3 years preferred, don't hesitate to apply if you have 5, 10, or even 20+ years)
- Motivated by getting things done and checking off your To-Do list
- Great at helping customers in a timely manner
- Comfortable with computers and software, knowing Applied Epic is a BIG plus, but not required
As an Account Manager at Highstreet/Ottawa Kent, you’ll be expected to:
- Retain current clients
- Share technical expertise about insurance - products, coverages, client needs, forms, and proposals
- Complete day-to-day Commercial Lines Workflows - written confirmation of binding policies, certificates of insurance, endorsements and audits, renewal marketing
- Present additional coverages based on client needs
- Prepare accurate proposals and summaries of insurance

Where is the location and what are the work hours?
- Candidates must be based in Michigan. Hybrid in-office schedules or Fully Remote are possibilities depending on your location.
- Full time; 40 hours a week
