Neurology - Physician - Mount Sinai South Nassau - Oceanside, NY

Description Mount Sinai South Nassau is currently seeking a full‑time, qualified, board‑certified or board‑eligible neurologist in Oceanside, New York. The Neurology Division comprises eight faculty neurologists focused on achieving the Joint Commission gold seal of approval for disease‑specific care for primary stroke, AHA Gold Plus Stroke Center, and partial thrombectomy‑capable interventional services. The division is building a comprehensive thrombectomy‑capable Stroke Center and a full‑service tertiary care hospital. Responsibilities Employed full‑time position based at Mount Sinai South Nassau. Inpatient neurology consultative services. Call coverage for stroke. Teaching and/or research opportunities available. Qualifications Medical Degree from an accredited university. New York medical license. Graduate from an accredited ACGME Neurology Residency Program. Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Neurology. Experienced neurologists and new graduates are welcome to apply. Additional fellowship training in Vascular Neurology, EEG, or other areas is welcome but not required. Compensation Compensation range from 300K to 320K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).
