Nuclear Med Technologist (PRN)

BJC HealthCare System is seeking a PRN Nuclear Med Technologist for Christian Hospital. Position details include a PRN schedule and the location is near Alton IL, Godfrey IL, Edwardsville IL, Collinsville IL, Granite City IL, Bridgeton MO, Saint Ann MO, Roxana IL, Wood River IL, Spanish Lake MO, Bethalto IL, Florissant MO, and Black Jack. Requirements include an associate degree or trade school equivalency, certification through NMTCB or ARRT, and experience in areas such as Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Nuclear Tech, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Tomography, Radiation Safety Officer, Radiologic Technologist, Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Medicine Imaging Technologist, Radiotracer Technologist, or PET Technologist. Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24-hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center, and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services. Nuclear Medicine offers Bone Density studies only, equipped with an Hologic Bone Densitometer, and provides same day service.

Role Purpose: Performs nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control.

Responsibilities: Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area.

Minimum Requirements: Education: Associate or Trade School Equi. Experience: No Experience. Licenses & Certifications: Cert Nuclear Medicine TechnIEMA - Illinois only excl MRIR.T.(N)/CNMT.

Preferred Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree- Nuclear Medicine. Experience: 2 years. Licenses & Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
