Job Title: Low Voltage Sales Estimator Position Overview This role is responsible for preparing correct and competitive estimates for low voltage systems across commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Experience with Security, Cameras, Access Control, Fire, Data and Video a plus. A strong understanding of low-voltage design and installation practices. Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope documents to determine low-voltage requirements. Perform material and labor takeoffs for Low Voltage Systems. Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals. Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing. Take part in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed. Aid in value engineering and cost-saving strategies. Position Requirements Must pass background check and have a valid driver's license Advanced customer service and relationship building skills Strong multi-tasking skills with high level attention to detail and accuracy Flexibility and adaptability to change Ability to work well with others Ability in standard office programs is important Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision Ability to read and interpret Construction drawing and specifications 2+ years of experience in estimating low voltage systems Knowledge of , Salto Systems, Lenel, and DW Security platforms preferred, but not needed Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and construction practices Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills Working Condition / Physical Requirements Office environment: Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending and stooping.
