Job Description:

We're seeking a Legal Assistant to join a collaborative Mass Tort team supporting complex product liability and personal injury litigation. This is a fast paced, high volume role where you'll work closely with a Lead Paralegal, attorneys, and fellow legal assistants to help move cases efficiently through the litigation process.

What You'll Do:

• Communicate with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and collect required documentation.

• Order, review, and organize medical records and other case-related documents.

• Maintain accurate case files and update information within the firm's case management system.

• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, medical providers, and internal team members to keep cases progressing.

• Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing binders, and other litigation support tasks as needed.

• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and exceptional client service in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of legal assistant, case management, legal intake, or related legal support experience preferred. Entry-level candidates with strong transferable legal experience are encouraged to apply.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly preferred.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload and competing priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with case management software is a plus.

• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn in a collaborative team environment.
