Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at HCA Florida Haines City Free Standing Emergency Department, in Haines City, FL. Qualified candidates:

• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
• Or be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with three years of Emergency Medicine experience. ABPS BCEM encouraged to apply.
• ACLS and PALS required

About Haines City FSER:

• 19,000 ER visits per year (52 patients per day)
• 12 emergency room bays, including a fully equipped trauma bay
• Dedicated pediatric treatment room
• Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus or other HCA facility with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists.

About HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital:

Opened in 2013, HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a four-story, 177,000 sq. ft. hospital with 94 private beds, a 12-bed private ICU, and 31-bed emergency department. We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient surgery, cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services. Our ED is approximately 19,500 sq. ft. and consists of 31 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad.

Walt Disney World lies 20 miles to the north of Poinciana and Orlando International Airport (MCO) is 30 miles northeast. Many lakes surround the area, one of which being Lake Tohopekaliga. Lake Toho, as the locals call it, is known for its bass fishing, birdwatching, and wildlife. Both the Atlantic and Gulf coasts are located 90 minutes to the east and west for convenience day trips or a weekend getaway.
