Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced RN for the Neuro MedSurg Acute unit. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in neurological care, including experience with stroke, spine surgery, and related conditions. This role includes managing high acuity patients and utilizing advanced skills in a dynamic acute care setting.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Acute
• Shift Details: 12hr Nights
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Every other
• Floating Requirements: Rotational floating within the unit; outside floating for competent skills only
• Charting System: EPIC
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Titrate heparin drips based on PTT
• Collaborate with charge nurse and house supervisor
• Work with nurse aids/patient care techs as per unit ratios
• Operate within unit's staffing and patient care protocols

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL license or application in progress
• BLS, NIHSS certifications
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Experience in a dedicated neuro unit
• Previous travel experience
• Heparin titration experience
