Quality manager

A growing food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced production environment. If you are passionate about food quality and continuous improvement, please apply and attach your resume for consideration. salary: $100,000 - $110,000 per year shift: First work hours: 6 AM - 3 PM education: High School Responsibilities • Led Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs, ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, SOPs, FSMA, Preventive Controls, and regulatory requirements. • Managed quality operations across production lines, overseeing inspections, testing, and product release activities to ensure compliance with quality and customer specifications. • Conducted food safety inspections, internal audits, and compliance assessments while maintaining audit readiness. • Investigated quality issues, customer complaints, and food safety incidents; performed root cause analysis and implemented corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). • Monitored critical control points, allergen programs, sanitation practices, and food safety systems to maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance. • Supervised and trained Quality Technicians and Inspectors, reinforcing food safety, quality standards, GMPs, and SOP compliance. • Collaborated with Production, Maintenance, and Operations teams to support daily manufacturing activities and continuous improvement initiatives. • Reviewed quality records, production documentation, and compliance reports to ensure accuracy and traceability. • Analyzed quality metrics and audit findings to identify improvement opportunities, reduce defects, and enhance product consistency.
