NexTier Flooring & Renovations LLC is hiring reliable traveling commercial painters for ongoing Bank of America renovation projects.

This is not a local residential painting position. This role requires travel, night work, and the ability to work in professional commercial environments. Projects are typically completed after hours while banks remain operational during the day, so cleanliness, speed, reliability, and attention to detail are extremely important.

We are looking for painters who can prep, patch, sand, mask, prime, paint, clean up, and work efficiently as part of a crew. The right person must be dependable, willing to travel, able to work nights, and able to represent the company professionally while out of town.

Responsibilities:

• Perform interior commercial painting on bank renovation projects
• Prep walls, doors, frames, trim, ceilings, soffits, and other painted surfaces
• Patch minor drywall damage, holes, dents, cracks, and wall imperfections
• Sand, caulk, mask, tape, plastic, and protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Apply primer and paint using brush and roller
• Use sprayers when qualified and approved
• Maintain clean lines, proper coverage, and professional finish quality
• Work cleanly in active commercial environments
• Set up and break down work areas each shift
• Keep tools, materials, and jobsite areas clean and organized
• Follow foreman instructions and daily production goals
• Report material needs, damage, delays, safety issues, or scope questions immediately
• Assist with light renovation tasks when needed to keep the project moving

Travel Expectations:

• Must be willing to travel for commercial projects
• Must be comfortable staying out of town for multiple days or weeks depending on project schedule
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and off-hours when required
• Must be comfortable staying in company-arranged lodging with crew members when needed
• Must maintain professional behavior on job sites, during travel, and in lodging
• Must be dependable even when working away from home

Travel work may include lodging, per diem, and project-based arrangements depending on the job.

Requirements:

• Painting experience preferred
• Must be willing and able to travel
• Must be able to work nights and weekends when required
• Must be reliable and show up on time
• Must have reliable transportation to designated meeting points or job locations
• Must be able to follow directions from the foreman or project lead
• Must work cleanly in professional commercial environments
• Must be able to lift materials, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for long shifts
• Must limit personal phone use during work hours
• Must be respectful, sober, and professional
• Must be able to work as part of a crew

Preferred Skills:

• Commercial painting experience
• Bank, retail, office, or tenant improvement experience
• Drywall patching and texture blending
• Caulking and detailed prep work
• Brush and roll production painting
• Sprayer experience
• Masking and floor protection experience
• Experience working night shifts or fast-paced commercial schedules
• Ability to follow written task lists or scope notes
