Your future role at a glance Location: St. Johns, FL Facility: Optimal Imaging Ascension St. Vincent's Department/Specialty: Outpatient Imaging Schedule: Day shift | PRN How you'll make an impact in this role Coordinate and communicate precise patient schedules for prescribed procedures to maximize clinical resource utilization and respect patient time. Efficiently manage patient registration by gathering and entering accurate demographic, insurance, and clinical data into database systems. Navigate and resolve scheduling conflicts and inquiries regarding procedure types, dates, and locations by leveraging appropriate resources. Facilitate insurance pre-certification and authorization work‑workflowsto ensure seamless administrative approvals prior to care. Counsel patients and representatives on pre-service requirements and instructions to prepare them effectively for upcoming procedures. What minimum qualifications you'll need Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
