Welder PositionFieldBridge is looking for a welder in Houston, TX to work for a massive global energy technology company. We offer weekly pay + benefits. Pay is $22 - $26/hour | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday, OT as needed | Weekly pay every Friday | Overtime opportunities available. At $26/hr and 50 hrs/week, earn weekly paychecks of $1,430 gross.Position OverviewThis role performs precision cladding and weld repair on machined components for gas and steam turbine parts, working independently to meet production schedules while maintaining high quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform visual and in-process inspections per API and ISO quality specificationsRead and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsOverlay components using TIG and MIG per approved weld proceduresSet up and weld components within specific weld procedure parametersDetail grind components following weld repairsRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED (advanced degree may substitute for experience)7+ years of TIG and MIG welding experienceExperience with foot control TIG and MIG machinesExperience with SMAW and GMAW welding procedures preferredManual TIG welding experienceOil & gas industry background
