Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current OT licensure for the state of Georgia (or eligibility)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
• Skilled at assessing, planning, and implementing individualized therapy plans
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Understanding of IEP processes and special education law preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ occupational therapy needs
• Develop and execute individual therapy treatment plans based on student goals and IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress and inclusion
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in goal setting and accommodations
• Document services provided and student progress according to both federal and district guidelines
• Provide consultation to staff on classroom modifications and student strategies
• Use creativity and clinical skill to adapt activities and interventions for maximum impact
