Painter Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking skilled Painters to join our manufacturing shop. Total Rewards: Life Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Paid Holidays PTO Weekly Pay Medical, Dental, Vision, Hospital, Accident, Specified Disease, and Pet Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Onsite Health Clinic Apprenticeship Program Schedule: Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Responsibilities: Prepare paint surfaces Mix paint Follow all EAS safety policies and procedures Roll/brush paint on structural steel Caulk as needed Education Requirements/Qualifications: Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required High School Diploma or GED or related experience in Industrial or Auto Body Painting as determined by the plant manager Job Requirements/Special Skills: Auto Body painting experience a plus Bondo/Repair experience a plus Good verbal communication skills with employees Positive attitude Open minded with a vision for continuous improvement Ability to take on more responsibility as the business grows Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels Ability to perform work at heights utilizing ladders and lifts EAS is the leading HVAC Volumetric Modular Manufacturer and the # 1 Mechanical Contractor in the southeastern United States.
