The pay for this position starts at $55000/year with additional compensation added for higher education licensure and/or years of relevant experience up to $77480/year.

This position is located in Rutland MA.

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.

Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to helping children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other psychological emotional and behavioral disorders. Based in Rutland MA our day and residential school provides special education and treatment for youth ages 6-22 including diagnostic and assessment services extended evaluation and placement options.

As an ELL Teacher you will:

• Prepare and teach lessons in accordance with MA Curriculcum framework and students IEPs.
• Provide supervision of Teachers Aides in the classroom.
• Work diligently to meet the needs of our students both in the classroom and by being a positive role model to others.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid drivers license required
• Bachelors degree required
• Massachusetts DESE licensure in Moderate Disabilities and ESL required
• Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological emotional and behavioral disorders and/or autism spectrum disorders preferred
• Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation Monday to Friday 8AM to 4PM in Rutland MA
• Must be fluent in Portuguese including strong verbal communication reading and writing comprehension.
