Located in Beaverton, just minutes from Portland, our team enjoys a city known for its creative culture, exceptional food, and easy access to the beautiful Oregon coast, Columbia River Gorge, and Mount Hood.Job Summary/Description:KPTV FOX 12 is looking for a driven Sales Media Executive who wants the opportunity to build their media advertising business from the ground up.This new-business role focuses on prospecting, cold calling, networking, presenting solutions, closing sales, and building lasting client relationships.You’ll represent a powerful portfolio of FOX 12, Rose City SportsNet, and Gray Digital Media solutions - including television, streaming, digital, social, search, video, and AI-driven marketing solutions - to help local businesses grow while building your own book of business.If you’re competitive, results-focused, and motivated to create opportunities, we want to speak with you.Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Generate new advertising revenue through consistent business prospecting and outreach (phone, email, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings). - Build and maintain an active sales pipeline, consistently setting appointments with qualified decision-makers. - Meet with business owners to understand goals and conduct client needs analyses. - Develop customized advertising strategies leveraging television, streaming, digital, social, search, and AI-driven marketing solutions. - Build and deliver compelling proposals; confidently negotiate, overcome objections, and close new accounts. - Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and sales activity expectations. - Partner collaboratively with production, traffic, research, and digital teams to execute successful client campaigns. - Maintain accurate activity, pipeline tracking, and revenue forecasting within CRM systems. - Stay current on station/corporate products, local market trends, and emerging advertising technologies. - Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or minimum two years of sales experience. - Experience in B2B, outside sales, media, or digital advertising is preferred. - Competitive, self-motivated, and resilient through sales challenges and rejection. - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. - Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management capabilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. - This position requires the employee to be able to drive for business needs.
