Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, assessing and implementing care plans as needed.
• Assist with labor management, including patient education and support throughout the process.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Current RN License in the state of Virginia.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
