Staffing Information

• Day Shift Staffing: Unit Secretary, 2-3 Patient Care Technicians (PCT)
• Night Shift Staffing: 2-3 Patient Care Technicians (PCT)

Equipment and Technology

• Sara Steady
• Wound Vac
• Tele Health
• Virtual Sitter Equipment
• Remote Telemetry

Documentation System

System Used: Meditech

Scheduling Requirements

• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• Weekdays flexible

Floating Policy

Floating is on an as-needed basis, primarily between medical-surgical units.

Patient Experience Requirements

Must adhere to BSSR and conduct hourly rounding.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) preferred
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) preferred

Required Skills

• Strong assessment skills
• Experience with IV Pumps
• Proficiency in using Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
• Advanced skills in IV and Foley catheter placement

Dress Code

Uniform: Black or Royal Blue Scrubs
