JOB SUMMARY Prepare and dispense prescribed medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist while ensuring excellence in patient care, patient safety and patient satisfaction. Adhere to all state, federal, organizational, and departmental regulations and guidelines. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma/GED Registered by Texas State Board of Pharmacy & in good standing IV certification preferred MTM Certification preferred Minimum 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician; 2 years' experience preferred SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact) Additional Skills: Mathematics, Medical Terms, P.C.
