As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Duty in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily site operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, work closely with your team, and lead with integrity while putting people first.

Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential hazards.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle information according to site procedures.
- Prepare clear reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
