Patient Care Technician

• Schedule - Shift - Hours PRN - Nights - 1900-0700

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Patient Care Technician to join our Emergency Department in Bolivar , Missouri— someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

• Status: Full time, Part time and PRN (Per Requested Need).
• Work Shift: Days, Evenings, Nights or even Rotating
• Shift Differential $1- $3 additional depending on shift.

What Your Day Looks Like:

obtaining vital signs, assisting patients with ADLs, ambulating, working through admits and discharges as they move through the unit, and working with a great team of upbeat nursing staff.

As a Nurse Assistant/ Certified Nurse Assistant, you will be:

• Preparing patients for meals, serving, and collecting food trays and nourishments, and documenting intakes
• Handling and caring for resident clothing andpersonal property, protecting fromdamageand assuring proper storage
• Making rounds to assigned patients, accommodating patient needs
• Ensuring safe,appropriate nursingcare is administered and problems reported to the charge nurse for follow-up action

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma (preferred).

Experience: Must have some medical experience-- either in ER setting or on the ambulance.

Skills: Good Communication, Patience, Attention to detail, flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills.

Licensure/Certification: Current Certified Nurse Assistant Certification/ Licensure or agrees to enroll, attend and pass CNA course with 4 months of employment, BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR (we assist with obtaining this) within 6 months of employment.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 90% of the shift and sit for the remaining 10% of shift. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
