Recording and reviewing patient medical histories is also a necessity. Additional responsibilities and requirements include: Cleaning calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth, and beneath gum margins with dental instruments Charting conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist Maintaining and sterilizing dental equipmentApplying fluorides and other cavity preventing agents to prevent dental decay Must be flexible with hours Monday - Saturday Qualifications: Registered Dental Hygienist must have the ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments Registered Dental Hygienist must have excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation Registered Dental Hygienist should have experience using Vizilite, Velscope and/or Diagnodent a Registered Dental Hygienist should show leadership skills Registered Dental Hygienist must have an engaging personality with a desire to be patient focused Registered Dental Hygienist must be highly motivated and goal-oriented Eaglesoft computer experience is a plus Experience using electronic medical records is a plus Education: Valid Dental Hygienist license in Ohio Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene, Bachelor’s degree a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Hylan Dental Care
