Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: NRP, Stable, AWOHN Intermediate or Advanced, ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Labor experiences Postpartum care Well baby care Stabilization of critical newborns for transfers Description: This is a state-of-the-art facility with a variety of medical services. It has a designated labor, delivery, and postpartum unit. The emergency department operates around the clock. The surgery department includes major operating rooms and endoscopy suites. There is a modern cardiac catheterization unit available. Diagnostic imaging services include digital modalities for various testing needs. Physicians have access to a high-quality digital imaging system. The unit has 9 beds with patient ratios varying based on acuity. Equipment includes IV pumps, epidural pumps, fetal monitoring equipment, and fetal Dopplers. The electronic health record system is Med Host and Centricity. The patient population includes labor, postpartum, and neonates. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling and work every other weekend. There are no call requirements for this position. Centricity experience is preferred. Ideal candidates will possess strong team player qualities.
