Manager-Car Wash

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on professional to lead daily operations at a busy car wash facility while also bringing practical mechanical knowledge to support equipment upkeep and issue resolution. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, motivating a team, delivering excellent customer service, and helping ensure equipment runs efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day car wash operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality service.
• Supervise, train, and support team members to promote productivity, safety, and strong customer interactions.
• Monitor equipment performance and assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
• Help identify operational issues and coordinate timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the facility.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and task assignments as needed.
• Track supplies, request inventory, and help ensure necessary materials are available for daily operations.
• Address customer concerns professionally and work to resolve service issues promptly.
• Support compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
• Assist with performance monitoring, reporting, and ongoing improvements to service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory, team lead, or operations role preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a hands-on environment and remain organized under changing priorities.
• Customer service mindset with a professional and positive approach.
• Basic understanding of safety practices and equipment care.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in car wash, automotive service, facilities maintenance, or a similar operational environment.
• Familiarity with pumps, motors, belts, vacuums, or related mechanical systems.
• Experience coaching employees and improving team performance.
