Job Opportunity – Pediatric Hospitalist – North Carolina

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 14 shifts per month with specific coverage dates throughout September through December 2026

Highlights:

• Night shift position with predictable 12-hour scheduling
• Patient volume ranges from 10-18 patients per shift
• EMR system: Cerner
• Procedural expectations include lumbar punctures and some IJ line placements
• Focus on pediatric subspecialty patient management in hospitalist setting
• No circumcisions or deliveries required

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina medical license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Active North Carolina DEA registration (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Board Certification in Pediatrics required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• Previous Pediatric Hospitalist experience required
• Experience managing pediatric subspecialty patients
• Competency in lumbar punctures and IJ line placement
