What You'll Do Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines Assesses by grade accurate weight of material orders and issues supplies for visitors and customers entering the yard Upon pick up of scrap outbound: ID theproper carrier to pick up correct materials/containers Self-manage accurate tracking, self-regulate flow of incoming shipment Operate different pieces of equipment on the yard to assist in moving material as needed Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor What You'll Need Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in all weather conditions Able to work as a team player in a fast‑paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills Minimum 1 year experience in either recycling and/or manufacturing environment preferred Previous experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred We are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
