Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide care in a Level 3 NICU. This position will require flexibility to float between internal units as needed. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work weekends and a commitment to serving neonate and pediatric populations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to neonates in a critical care environment.
• Administer oxygen therapy, ventilatory support, and airway management.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and neonatal transport.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active WA State Respiratory Therapist License required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 3 or Level 4 NICU or Adult ICU settings.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS required. RRT preferred.
• Experience with high-frequency oscillation and Jet ventilation preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and floating between units.
