Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Associate

Overview Venable LLP’s Commercial Litigation DC/Virginia Group seeks a mid-level associate to join the team in Washington, D.C. This position requires a minimum of three years experience in litigation practice and a strong interest in handling commercial disputes across a variety of industries and legal subject matters. Responsibilities Manage litigation workflow, including deadlines, filings, and multiple workstreams across matters. Draft motions, briefs, and written discovery. Participate in depositions and large litigation as a mid‑level associate. Qualifications Minimum three years experience in a law firm litigation practice. Strong legal writing and analytical skills. Experience with depositions and large litigation. Juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to and in good standing with the D.C. Bar. Provide law school transcripts with submission. Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $215,000 to $355,000. Actual salary offered will be based on years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials, certifications, responsibilities, and performance.
