Rapid Response Registered Nurse

Location: Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description: A Rapid Response Registered Nurse is essential to providing immediate care and intervention throughout the healthcare facility. The nurse will work closely with core staff to respond to critical situations and will not have an assigned patient load.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to medical emergencies and critical patient situations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement patient care plans.
• Provide life-saving interventions in cases of cardiac arrest, trauma, stroke, and STEMI scenarios.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) effectively in patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 5 years of ICU experience.
• Highly recommended experience in a dedicated rapid response role.
• Preferred backgrounds include Medical ICU and Emergency Department.
• Required certifications: ACLS, NIHSS.
