Meta Sales Specialist

Job Overview Job Type: Regular Work Location: Nebraska Furniture Mart 1 - Omaha, NE 68114 Pay & Schedule Pay: $23 per hour + weekly, monthly, quarterly contests, and spiffs. Shift Details: 6‑hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, totaling 12 hours per weekend. Flexible Shift Times: Either 11AM – 5PM or 12PM – 6PM each weekend day. Additional shifts added in November and December for key customer shopping days. Role Summary As a part‑time Meta Sales Specialist at Nebraska Furniture Mart, you’ll connect directly with customers to create engaging, informative shopping experiences centered around Meta’s innovative technology and wearables. In this customer‑facing role, you’ll represent the Meta brand on the sales floor, build strong relationships with retail leadership and associates, deliver product training, and confidently recommend solutions that meet each shopper’s needs. Responsibilities Showcase Meta products and demonstrate their value in areas such as fitness, gaming, and entertainment. Build trust by understanding customer needs and recommending the appropriate Meta product. Represent Meta and associated companies professionally and welcomingly, building positive relationships with customers and store staff. Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to team success. Maintain Meta displays clean, organized, and visually appealing. Partner with retail sales associates and leaders; share knowledge and support a productive work environment. Track customer interactions, feedback, and sales electronically; submit daily reports via mobile device. Operate primarily on weekends and be available for up to three one‑time weekday shifts. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum six months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing preferred. Interest in AV and VR products is a plus. Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and a genuine commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Ability to engage, demonstrate, and close sales. Availability to work weekends and up to three one‑time weekday shifts. Own a smartphone (iPhone 11 or Samsung S25 equivalent). Physical capability to stand, walk, reach, pick up, bend, and lift up to 20lbs occasionally. Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled visits.
