Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our new unit. You will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our telemetry patients, utilizing your skills in telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias. The unit is built from the ground up with state-of-the-art equipment, and there will be opportunities to work collaboratively with a skilled team.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings of patients.
• Administer medications and manage patient care plans in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
• Provide support during off-shift hours with leadership available via phone.
• Participate in ongoing training and orientation as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• At least 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• SC RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias is essential.
