Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department Employment Details: Department: 36102 Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center – Emergency Department Position Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 24 Schedule Details: (2) 12‑hour shifts 7p‑7a Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30 Where You Will Work: More than 44,000 people come to Illinois Masonic each year for emergency care. The EMED is a Level I Trauma Center with a trauma bay, general emergency, and behavioral health beds. RNs are required to be verified as a Trauma Nurse by attending a Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC). The EMED leads the city of Chicago’s pre‑hospital disaster preparedness. We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program Illinois registered nurse license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association ACLS/PALS certification within three months of hire Minimum one year of nursing experience, preferably in emergency nursing What You’ll Do: As a skilled RN, you will coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in line with established standards, policies, and procedures. You will employ evidence‑based practice, sound clinical decision‑making, compassion, and communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and deliver the best patient experience across the continuum.
