Duties:

Maintain & Update Drawings

Projects

Develop Scope, Plan, Quote, & Implement Capital & Maintenance Projects

Meet Project Schedules & Budgets

Identify Process Improvement Opportunities

On-Call Responsibility for Mechanical Department

Technical Resource

Develop Maintenance Procedure & Quality Specifications

Assist with Maintenance Troubleshooting

Maintain Technical Documents

Assist with Technical Growth & Training of Mill Personnel

Safety

Ensure Safety Procedure are Followed by ALL

Engineer Safety Systems & Guarding

Reliability

Evaluate & Modify PM Schedules to Optimize Uptime

Assist with Root Cause Failure Analysis & Develop Corrective Solution

Requirements:

BS in Engineering, preferably Mechanical

Industrial Experience, preferably in Pulp & Paper

Knowledge of Mechanical Systems including Pumps, Gearboxes, Lubrication, Vibration, Piping, Welding, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Thermal Systems, Etc.

Computer Skills including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
