Inpatient Psychiatry - Southeastern Massachusetts - Regional Medical Director

Brown University Health has openings for board certified or eligible psychiatrists interested in working in an inpatient setting. Working at Morton or St. Anne’s Hospital, you will treat patients with a variety of mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and psychosis. Our programs encompass a comprehensive view of mental health that includes and integrates the biological, psychological, and social dimensions of care. About the Position: Supervising providers of 16-bed inpatient unit (St. Anne’s), 19-bed inpatient unit (Morton), plus cross coverage Treat patients aged 55+ Unit accepts elderly patients depending on functional status Mix of diagnoses: psychotic disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, personality disorders, co-occurring substance use disorders Inpatient behavioral health team includes NP, nurses, psych techs, social workers, and recreation therapist Participation in call is voluntary with additional compensation 20% protected admin time, 80% clinical time Leadership opportunities available if desired H1B friendly (this position cannot support a J1 visa) PSLF Eligible About the Benefits: Base $270,000-$300,000+ (with leadership stipend) moonlighting and additional income opportunities available Diverse patient population (clinically, culturally, and economically) EMR is EPIC Dynamic leadership team that values work-life balance $3500 CME/Practice allowance Excellent benefits 4 weeks PTO, 1 week CME 401K with 6% match #J-18808-Ljbffr Brown University Health
