Pay range: $25.00 to $32.00 USD Your Daily Role: Perform proper installation, maintenance and adjustments of all associate equipment in the refrigeration cycle. Recognize potential problems, worn parts and perform necessary repairsTroubleshoot Anhydrous Ammonia refrigeration system problemsAssembly, disassembly and overhaul of hydraulic pumps, relief valves, regulating valves, solenoids, filters, lines, actuating cylinders and motorsFitting and adjustment of chain and sprockets for drive unitsAssist with boiler operation and boiler room duties that includes testing water samples, maintaining chlorine and water softener systemYour Profile:Prior experience in the operation and repair of two stage anhydrous ammonia refrigeration systemKnowledge for the operation and repair of two stage anhydrous ammonia refrigeration system, screw compressor and booster, reciprocating compressor, rotary booster, evaporative condensers, ammonia pumps and controls and freezer tunnels for IQF processingAbility to read and understand blueprints and/or schematics, Knowledge of chemical manualsAbility to work in confined spacesKnowledge of mechanical and electrical technical equipment such as micrometers, calipers, metal gauges, metal thickness and multi-meterKnowledge of oxygen acetylene equipmentHours - Pack Season: May to Dec. 6 pm - 6 am, 5 days off, 7 days on, 2 days off, 7 days on (rotating schedule)Off-season: Dec to May 6a-2:30 p Mon-FriWe're looking for people like you!
