Operations Supervisor

Supervising labor management and planning of inbound, outbound, Product slotting and customer communication activities daily Conducting staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities Managing operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals Ensuring development of systems and procedures for managing operations Complying with terms outlined in the site's operating agreement Managing operations to achieve prescribed objectives Providing direction and support to Human Resources Planning daily work schedule by reviewing existing work orders, arrival notices, and instructions from customers Training new staff in assigned duties Keeping informed of quantity and quality of jobs being performed throughout the day Requirements High school diploma or GED 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment 1 year experience in a supervisory role Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation preferred Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) RF Scanners and WMS functions experience Strong attention to detail accuracy and accomplish job tasks in a timely manner Good organizational and personnel skills Good communication skills, written and oral Good leadership, supervision, and planning skills Must be able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, as required by the operation. Core Competencies Demonstrates strong leadership and supervisory skills in logistics and distribution environments, with a focus on operational efficiency, staff training, and compliance with operational agreements.
