What You'll Be Doing As a Shift Lead, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and our guests leave with a smile. Your leadership will help set the tone for an incredible experience—both for our customers and your team. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for: Leading and motivating team members during your shift to deliver top-notch service. Overseeing daily operations, including food preparation, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards. Ensuring premium food presentation and upholding our brand’s commitment to bold flavors. Assisting with scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining operational efficiency. Acting as a role model for team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. What We’re Looking For We’re searching for someone who’s ready to step up and lead with confidence. To succeed in this role, you should bring: At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the food service industry. Eligibility to hold food handler and food manager certifications (or already certified). Restaurant or food service experience preferred. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Experience driving a box truck is a plus. Driver's License & Transportation Requirements Valid driver's license required. Reliable transportation to and from work. Must be willing and able to travel throughout the DMV area for food truck events, catering, and off-site operations. Ability to travel to suppliers or other Smash Akhs locations as needed. Clean driving record preferred. Schedule Requirements Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be available to open and close the restaurant as scheduled. Why Join Us?
