This isn't another early-stage AI company experimenting with LLMs. This business is already operating at serious scale: $250M Series E led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) $400M+ raised to date Recently surpassed $200M ARR 100% YoY growth for 5 consecutive years Technology used across 1 in 6 US apartments More than 1B AI-powered conversations processed They're now looking for a Junior Research Scientist to work directly on the machine learning and LLM systems powering that scale. What you'll be working on You’ll join a high-calibre research group working across LLMs, machine learning, predictive modelling and applied AI research , taking ideas from research through to production. You’ll be: Developing and improving ML architectures for sophisticated conversational AI systems Working with the latest large language models on production-scale datasets Building predictive models around user behaviour and engagement Applying advanced mathematics, statistics and ML to difficult real-world problems Experimenting with new research and translating it into production systems Working closely with Engineering, Product and Data Science to deploy models at scale Who they're looking for This is particularly well suited to someone coming from a highly quantitative academic background: PhD in Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, Computer Science or a closely related field You should have: Strong foundations in machine learning, statistics and mathematical modelling Excellent quantitative problem-solving ability Strong Python skills and experience with modern ML frameworks Genuine interest in LLMs / generative AI / applied ML research The ambition to work in an intense, high-ownership startup environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
