Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Location: Newport, Vermont

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 6 PM - 6 AM; 3 shifts per week, with every other weekend required.

Job Description: The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care services to patients in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital. This position involves working during night shifts and entails providing assessments, treatments, and interventions based on the needs of the patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of patients' respiratory function.
• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with medical staff to create and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Respiratory Therapist license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
