Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist with expertise in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization labs. This role involves supporting procedural workflows, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety within a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient vitals and equipment during cardiac procedures to ensure stability and safety.
• Set up and prepare necessary equipment and access sites for diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures.
• Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening arrhythmias and other emergent conditions.
• Maintain a sterile field, scrub in, and assist physicians during procedures.
• Ensure all procedural documentation and compliance requirements are met accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold safety standards and optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active ARRT (R) or RCIS certification.
• Possess a valid NJ license, with the ability to obtain during compliance if pending.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab, with proficiency in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Be fully vaccinated, including COVID booster, per facility policy.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of cardiac protocols, arrhythmia recognition, and sterile techniques.
• Able to pass unit-based competency, medication, and EKG testing with a minimum score of 80%.
