Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: South Lyon, MI 48178

Assignment Type: 13-week contract with potential for extension
Work Hours: Monday- Friday 8:00-5:00

 

Key Responsibilities
• Assist physicians and registered nurses with examinations and patient care procedures.
• Perform clinical tasks including measuring vital signs, documenting patient information, and preparing treatment rooms.
• Support front and back-office administrative duties including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing documentation.
• Manage inventory by ordering and restocking medical supplies.

 

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Current BLS Provider Certification (required)

Medical Assistant certificate

 

Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience in an outpatient or healthcare setting
• Experience with Cerner, Athena, or other EMR platforms

 

Skills:
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations
• Self-starter who works effectively with minimal supervision
