Endocrinology Opportunity At AdventHealth Diabetes Institute

The AdventHealth Diabetes Institute is seeking dynamic and energetic, clinically-focused endocrinologists to join our team and be based in Apopka, Orlando, Winter Garden and Winter Park, Florida. The mission of the AdventHealth Diabetes Institute is to improve the lives of people with diabetes, promote a healthy lifestyle, deliver excellence in clinical care and education, and conduct research leading to diabetes prevention and a cure. The new physician would help start a new outpatient practice location and be part of our larger team over 20 endocrine providers covering multiple locations around the Central Florida area. The AdventHealth Diabetes Institute is a full-service, integrated practice, providing endocrinology and diabetes care, as well as comprehensive diabetes and nutrition education services. The AHDI is a nationally recognized program including consistent recognition in Endocrinology by U.S. News and World Report. We serve as a teaching site for internal medicine residents and medical students. We also participate in clinical research in the areas of diabetes, obesity and metabolism in partnership with our Translational Research Institute for Metabolism and Diabetes. The AdventHealth Diabetes Institute serves the greater Orlando area across the AdventHealth Central Florida Division. The main office is situated in over 20,000 sq ft of beautiful new office space on the campus of AdventHealth Orlando, a 1,364 bed tertiary referral hospital. Candidates must be committed to delivering transformational clinical care within the outpatient and inpatient settings. In addition, there may be opportunities to participate in teaching and clinical research for qualified and interested candidates.
