Join a 13-week travel Physical Therapist (PT) assignment in Bradenton, FL, with 8-hour day shifts in a skilled nursing facility (SNF). Bradenton is a vibrant city known for its beautiful beaches, the Riverwalk, and the Village of the Arts, offering a mix of cultural and outdoor activities.As a PT, you will work as part of a collaborative care team, providing medically necessary care and using clinical judgment to determine the appropriate frequency, duration, and modality of services. You will design individualized therapy plans with physicians and other medical professionals to address each resident's unique needs, focusing on maintaining, promoting, or restoring lost physical function after injury or illness. Responsibilities include building strength and endurance, improving flexibility, enhancing coordination, managing pain, and preventing falls. You will also help residents prepare for life after their stay by recommending safety equipment and home modifications, and sharing this information with the care planning team for discharge planning.
