DC Pipe Yard Associate

Job Posting: Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate! We are hiring a Pipe Yard Associate for our M-F 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM shift. Starting Pay: 22.00 per hour with ability to earn a monthly incentive bonus. Responsibilities Operate heavy motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material Coordinate the removal and replacement of worn components Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System) Ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required Qualifications A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it General computer proficiency for basic data entry Forklift Operator experience is strongly preferred Requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures Ability to carry objects that are up to 50 lbs by hand and 50 lbs or more by using equipment Pre-employment drug and background screening required At Ferguson, we care for each other. Pay Range $15.00 - $41.97 Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
