Ridglea West Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a family-owned, full-service veterinary hospital, we are committed to providing comprehensive medical, dental, surgical, and emergency care for pets of all shapes and sizes. Daily Responsibilities:

• Assist with animal care and preventive care treatments
• Perform IV catheterization and catheterization procedures
• Assist with ultrasound, internal medicine, and discharge planning
• Administer medications and assist with surgeries
• Handle lab work, venipuncture, X-rays, and triage
• Maintain medical records and assist with diagnostic procedures
• Client education 
• General daily cleaning 

Required Skills:

• Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician (still encouraged to apply if not certified, we offer a CVA program in house)
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring
• Strong background in animal care and preventive care
• Proficiency in IV catheterization and catheterization procedures
• Ability to assist with ultrasound, internal medicine, and discharge planning
• Avimark software 

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in critical care
• Knowledge of medical records management
• Previous experience with diagnostic procedures
