Registered Nurse - NICU (Level III) - 12H Rotating Shift Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour rotating shifts (mainly nights, days as needed). Floating to various departments is required, with every other weekend scheduled. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Responsibilities include floating to any newborn NICU, mother/baby, nursery, and attending deliveries, as well as supporting pediatrics/PICU with neonate assignments. This role requires flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Delivery of comprehensive nursing care to neonates and their families. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Participation in procedures and care activities as required. Adherence to safety and best practices within the NICU environment. Documentation and maintenance of accurate patient records. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure A minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required. Experience in a large (500+ bed count) teaching facility preferred, or documented prior travel experience. Active AHA BLS and NRP certifications required; STABLE and RNC-NIC preferred.
