Certified Medical Assistant

Job Description We are currently seeking a professional, patient, and empathetic Medical Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will assist Physicians and clinical staff in the delivery of healthcare by performing a variety of medical and office-related tasks in both the Back and Front Office. Core Job Duties (but not limited to): Prepare patients for office visits and procedures Obtain and document brief medical history and reason for visit in the patient’s chart Perform and accurately record vital signs Submit and follow up on medication prior authorizations with insurance companies Communicate authorization status with providers, pharmacies, and patients Assist providers with examinations and procedures as instructed Assist providers with injections as ordered Ensure patient demographic and insurance information is accurate Triage patient phone calls and communicate appropriately with clinical staff Requirements:

MUST BE CERTIFIED!

Strong written and communication skills Must have experience working in a Medical Assistant position or directly related field, and at least 1 year working in the Back office At least one year experience with ECW Is an effective team player who contributes valuable ideas and feedback and can be counted on to meet commitments Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication that is clear, well-organized, and understanding of audience needs Bilingual (English required; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred) Experience in surgical setting preferred but willing to train Qualifications Ability to ...
